The Strathcona Industrial Association (SIA) is comprised of heavy industry operators in east Edmonton and Strathcona County who work with the community and all levels of government to promote a safe and healthy working and living environment. Together, as the SIA, members:

• operate an ambient air monitoring network;
• ensure emergency preparedness and planning; and
• conduct community outreach through CAER (Community Awareness Emergency Response)
